Drud Coated Balloon-based angioplasty for Chronic Total Occlusions: The PICCOLETO X Study
Prof. Bernardo Cortese presented our third LBCT at PCR EuroPCR 2026, the final results of PICCOLETO-X, a multicenter international study sponsored by Fondazione Ricerca e Innovazione Cardiovascolare with the collaboration of DCB ACADEMY.
Having enrolled barely 1000 patients, this is the largest study on the use of a DCB strategy for coronary CTO, with 1 year clinical follow up, and was warranted simultaneous publication at JACC Interventions.
