Home » OUR CLINICAL TRIALS » PICCOLETO VII

Study Chairman: Prof Bernardo Cortese
PI: Dr Simone Fezzi

PICCOLETO VII is a multicenter study that seeks to determine differences between paclitaxel and sirolimus drug-coated balloons in terms of Radial wall strain in patients with native small vessel coronary artery disease. This trial is collecting data from various devices, including Sequent Please (B. Braun), Elutax (AR Baltic Medical), Selution (MedAlliance, Cordis), Magic Touch (Concept Medical), Prevail (Medtronic), and Pantera Lux (Biotronik). This study enrolled patients from experienced operators and centers in Europe and Singapore, and an independent and blinded core lab will evaluate the study endpoints. The results of this study will be presented in 2026.
